Progress in binderless fiberboard bonding mechanism

The binderless bonding process was introduced,in which the coated fiber materials were used to bring about the binderless fiberboard bonding by surface chemical activation,including oxidizing,natural product transformation,free radicals initiation,acid catalyzed condensation and alkali solution activation etc.The bonding mechanism of the different bonding methods was elaborated,with the focus on the function mechanism of free radicals initiation method and natural product transformation method.Moreover,the future research in this area was prospected.
