Method of optimization of congestion control based on the multi-path protocol MP-AODV

In AODV routing protocol,an intermediate node can reply a RREQ when it has a route with a sequence number that is greater than or equal to that contained in the RREQ,no matter how many packets are waiting to send in it.This routes’performance may degrade because local congestions may incur on those nodes with the increase of offered load.To solve this problem,a multi-path routing methods MP-AODV has been optimized on the basis of AODV.And reduce link invalidation rate by using initiative routing mechanism.The simulation results show that the protocol is improved compared to the original protocol.Endto-end delay and packet loss rate are all reduced,and the transmission efficiency is improved at the same time.
