With the rapid development of internet,the world wide web (www) has already become a huge global information center for the study of data mining .As a starting point,the paper introduces the definition ,principle, the algorithms and process of data mining and Web mining in a summing up way. Also itdiscusses the concept and development of E business and E shopping.Finally,the applications of Web Mining are introduced in the E shopping.
