The present paper describes an adaptive signal enhancer (ASE) which is capable of tracking the variation of visual evoked potential(VEP) from trial to trial as wellas improving signal4-to-noise ratio (SNR). This ASE requires two inputs: a primaryinput which is the raw noise corrupted response, and a reference input, which is designedfor an optimal performance of ASE. We used moving window averaging to form thedynamic reference input. Experimental results in human show a satisfactory performanceof the ASE in determining VEP to single stimulus and in tracking the temporal changesof the signal.
