Application of SMS platform in hospital information system

Two kinds of technologies of GSM modem and SMS gateway were introduced, and a SMS platform based on GSM modem technology was developed in some hospital for operation data publishing, critical values issuing, medical data release, humanistic concern, etc. SMS platform promotes the social and economic benefits of the hospital. The application of SMS platform to doctor-patient communication in the future was also explored.
