Iris recognition algorithm based on K-L transform

A new iris recognition algorithm based on K-L transform and nearest neighbor classifier is proposed.K-L transform is used to get the basic images,which forms a subspace.The unidentified iris image is projected into this subspace to get the coefficient vector,which can be used as the feature vector of the unidentified image.The nearest neighbor classifier is used to classify the feature vector.Experiment based on CASIA iris database show that this algorithm is efficient.
