Identification of Induction Motor Parameters Using Genetic Algorithm Based on Transfer Function

In this paper,the Genetic Algorithm is used to identify the parameters of the induction motor based on the transfer function.The error between the actual output of an induction motor and the output of the model is used as the criterion to correct the model parameters.These model parameters are the parameters of the induction motor.To compare with the Genetic Algorithm,the Least Squares Algorithm is also used to identify the parameters of the induction motor.Experimental results show that this method is feasible and that the identification result is believable.
