Influencing Factors and the Countermeasures of Resistance Method of Platelet Count

The accuracy of platelet count is very important in the hematologic analysis,however,at present many hemotolotic analyzers have a lot of drawbacks on platelet count,such as collection of blood sample,large platelets and microcyte interference,which all affect the accuracy of platelet count.Here is to make a review on the principle and influencing factors of the most commonly used clinical platelet count method i.e.the resistance method,and the following three aspects of effective ensuring the accuracy of platelet counts will be elaborated:platelet histogram observation,using optical method and using manual method for recheck.
