The Biorthogonal Wavelet Filter Banks for Digital Watermarking

The biorthogonal wavelet bases for watermarking in DWT domain is investigated. Firstly, the selection criteria of analysis and synthesis wavelets are presented. And some results are obtained based on the selection criteria. Secondly, by comparing the famous Daubechies biorthogonal wavelet bases 9/7, 7/9, 5/7, 7/5, 9/3, 3/9, 5/3, 3/5 in terms of the robustness of watermarking, biorthononal wavelet bases suitable for digital watermarking are selected.
