A novel fault-tolerance mechanism for Internet-oriented computing resource sharing platform is presented and described. This new fault-tolerance framework uses server, dispatcher and volunteer and thus forms a scalable layered topology, which is able to offload the failed computation to another node so that the overall computed results would not be affected. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of this mechanism, the power flow computation parallel application experiments are done. The results obtained from performance analysis show that Scalability and stability is good.
