Study and Utilization of the Specimen Database Management System for Plant Taxonomy

Using the technology of Internet,ASP,Microsoft Access and Dreamweaver,the virtual plant herbarium of Hangzhou Normal University was built,that was the specimen database management system for plant taxonomy.The system implemented the data inquiry for the pictures and properties of plant specimens based on network,provided basic platform for the teaching of plant taxonomy,and made the virtual conservation and management of plant specimens be more convenient.
