Design and Realization of a Complex Waveform Signal Generator

The design and realization of the complex waveform signal generator are introduced in this paper.The high-speed direct digital synthesizer is used to generate various complex waveform signals,and the frequency multiplication will be performed for the complex waveform signals generated by the DDS with the MW broad band frequency multiplier to achieve the expansion of the DDS output signal bandwidth to generate the complex waveform signals with various bandwidths.The designed complex waveform signal generator is capable of multiple complex waveform signals such as linear frequency modulation signal,nonlinear frequency modulation signal and phase encode signal,with an output signal bandwidth up to 1 GHz.
