Image Retrieval Based on Quadtree and Edge Invariant Moments

In order to use quadtree algorithm widely in scope of image retrieval,the requirements of content-based image retrieval to target object shape are analyzed. An image retrieval based on quadtree and edge invariant moments is proposed. The image retrieval system is set up,in which,five different types of images are tested. Simulation experimental results show this method is simple and effective with low complexity,and the retrieval efficiency is promoted.
