Electricity Larceny Prevention in DMS

The functional defects of kilowatt hour meter with electricity larceny prevention are analyzed.By it,the various means of electricity larceny can not be easily identified and the electricity larceny can not be found out in time.It is proved by principle analysis of larceny prevention and practice that,the electric leakage and electricity larceny can not be distinguished from each other under low voltage wiring mode.And it is irrational to automatically punish on electricity larceny by over calculation of kilowatt hour.It is pointed out that,by using the real time characteristics of DMS,to develop the function of electricity larceny prevention in DMS is much better in fast larceny scout and real time alarm than in kilowatt hour meter.Only SW modules need to be developed,no additional HW is necessary.Current balance and energy balance technologies are proposed to realize electricity larceny prevention in DMS.
