Dependability Analysis of Data Communication Subsystem in Train Control System

The data communication subsystem(DCS) in control system is important to ensure the high efficiency and safety of train control.Based Markov process,the dependability model of DCS,which captures the channel degrade,handover and AP failure,is proposed.The influence of different configuration and train velocity on the dependability of DCS is analysis.Performance evaluation shows that the redundancy configuration of DCS gains significant improvement in reliability than that of the no-redundancy one.The availability of redundancy configuration is as much as 99.99%,which is about 100 times higher than that of the no-redundancy configuration.The redundancy configuration can efficiently eliminate the impact of handover on the dependability of DCS.
