Simulation and performance analysis of multicarrier CDMA system

Multicarrier CDMA is the combination of OFDM and CDMA techniques,which has both merits of OFDM and CDMA.It has high rate transmission capability in wireless channels,high frequency spectrum efficiency,good performance of frequency diversity and robustness to multipath delay.The basic principle of OFDM is introduced at first,the system model of MC-CDMA is also described.Then,the BER performances of MC-CDMA and OFDM systems are simulated and compared.The simulation results show that the performance of MC-CDMA is better than OFDM,and it indicated that it is necessary to combine OFDM with CDMA.
