A Combined Detection Algorithm Based on SINR for MIMO Systems

A low complexity detection algorithm is proposed that combines MMSE-QRD(Minimum Mean Square Error-QR Decomposition)and QRD(QR Decomposition)-M according to the estimated signal to interference plus noise ratio(SINR)from each transmit antenna.The performances of the BER versus the threshold of SINR and complexity analysis of MMSE-QRD-QRDM are provided.Simulation results show that the BER of the proposed MMSE-QRD-QRDM is better than that of OSD-MLD algorithm with lower complexity.Furthermore,the proposed MMSE-QRD-QRDM can obtain better mathematical stability than OSD-MLD through reducing the number of matrix inverse.
