Method of Improving 64-bits Linux System Performance by Reducing Cost of TLB Miss

This paper presents a novel method named FAST_TLB_REFILL to decrease the cost of TLB miss. This method decreases the time to handle TLB miss by more than 30%, and improves the performance of high frequent TLB miss applications by 1% to 7%.
