A Study of a Policy-based Ontological Model of IDS

The author builds a policy-based ontological model of IDS, the model is capable of anomaly detecting and misuse detecting, sharing and reusing knowledge and analyzing it. The author specifies the ontology in OWL, presents the architecture of the IDS and a use case scenario.
