A study on developing platform of electronic chart application system in computer network environment

This paper demonstrates the design requirements and key technologies in developing platform of electronic chart application system in computer network environment. This platform supports internet/intranet and can realize the share of electronic chart database. It can be used to establish the electronic chart application system which is to meet the operation requirements of those departments such as shipping company, wrecking bureau, maritime bureau and seaport.
