A MODEL OF ANALOGICAL REASONING BASED ON COMMONALITY ABSTRACTION

This paper first discusses the concept of direct transfer and indirect transfer which exists in the process of analogical reasoning. Then the reasoning process of a model of analogical reasoning based on commonality abstraction is given. Three kinds of empty transfer between base and target are also discussed. Finally, the algorithms for creating a problem schema and a solution schema are proposed.
