Performance analysis of view-oriented parallel programming(VOPP)

A novel view-oriented parallel programming(VOPP) method for distributed shared memory system(DSM) is introduced.Experimental results show that the performance of VOPP is significantly better than the traditional DSM system, such as TreadMarks, and in some cases its performance is comparable with Message Passing Interface(MPI).The reasons of performance difference among VOPP, MPI and TreadMarks are analyzed also.
