s: The paper describes the flash memory M58LW064D with NOR structure and large capacity and parallel interface, which is developed lately by ST company. The chip has compact volume, high speed, low power consumption , 8 bit and 16 bit alternative data bus, simple interface with microprocessor. It can be used properly for embedding system. The paper further introduces this chip about its structure, its function, hardware interface circuit designing with C8051F020 and program designing method for reading, programming and erasing.
