Research progress on soybean protein adhesives for wood bonding

In recent years, in the increasingly significant background that synthetic polymer adhesive are subjected to the dual problems of environment protection and cost growth,to develop a new generation of environmentally friendly sustainable wood adhesives is urgent.Soybean protein adhesive as one of the most potential natural adhesive has been extensively studied in this paper.Some common methods of modifying soy protein and the direction of future development were summarized and prospected.
