Objective To make a comparison scheme and ensure the comparability of test results in different hematology analyzers in a laboratory. Methods Five different series of Sysmex hematology analyzers were made standard comparison once a year according to CLSI EP9-A2,and were made routine comparison by using 10 fresh blood samples once every month. Results The 95% confidence interval of predicted bias of the compared parameters were accepted in standard comparison method;the results of HCT detected with a instrument exceeded assigned range for one time. When the instrument was adjusted, the bias was in assigned range. Conclusion Standard comparison method combined with routine comparison method may improve quality control of complete blood count and ensure the accuracy and consistency of test results in different hematology analyzers.
