Dynamical stochastic resource allocation optimization for business process based on optimized production technology

Chunhua Ju · Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems · 2009

The exsisting resource static allocation optimization methods with schema were lack of flexibility and adaptability to the dynamics and uncertainties of the real business process execution, and dynamical resource allocation policies with shared queue or load balance had little room for global optimization,so traditional resource allocation methods/policies couldn't guarantee global performance optimization of business process execution under uncertain environments. Therefore,a new method was proposed. In this method,a business process analysis model for dynamical stochastic resource allocation optimization was built with individual resource queue and stochastic probability theory. Then, the dynamical stochastic resource allocation optimization method based on Optimized Production Technology (OPT) was presented. Finally, the effectiveness and advantage of this method were verified by an example and simulation experiment.
