Deformation Analysis Based on Wavelet and Its Applicationin Dynamic Monitoring for High-rise Buildings

In deformation analysis, the ultimate goal of using wavelet transform is for applications. In this paper, the method, function and operating process of deformation analysis based on wavelet transform are briefly presented. And then, practical data from GPS dynamic monitoring of Xiamen Construction Bank Building, one of highrise buildings, are analyzed. The results demonstrate that the structure vibration signals can effectively be extracted from original signals by the wavelet analysis. The GPS dynamic monitoring scheme, data analysis technique and analysis results are given in this paper.
