The Essence and Specialty of Platform Business Mode

The paper put forwards the initial model of platform mode elements by analyzing 10 enterprises' fist-hand and 34 enterprises' secondary data with Grounded theory. Then the paper further refined the initial model,getting core elements and their mutual relationship of platform mode by social network analysis. On the above,an expressing form of platform business model was proposed which included the base layer,service layer and value net. The study found platform model with value logic,there was significant differences with traditional enterprise business mode,such as the multiplicity and non-linearity of platforms mode value logic,and the mutual separation of each stage of platform mode logic value.
