Extended self similarity scaling law and hierarchical structures in complex system

To analyze the characteristics of complex nonlinear system,several complex signals were analyzed in the framework of the scaling law and Hierarchical Structure(HS) model of turbulence.It was shown that the Extended Self-Similarity(ESS) and Hierarchical Structure existed in all of these complex signals.This research proves that ESS and HS can depict the statistical law of the common complex signals quantitatively.The results also give a general indication to the research of multi-scale,multi-fluctuation and multi-intensity statistical self-similarity in common complex system.
