Design and Realization of the Auto-transfiguration Engine for Mongolian Based on OpenType on Linux-GNOME Platform

The main features of the Mongolian language and the Mongolian OpenType fonts based on the Unicode encoding standard are introduced.Some main rules that change the nominal Mongolian characters into the glyphs are given.Then,the way of using pango,which is a multi-lingual processing module of the GNOME platform,to process OpenType font is presented.A module to deal with Mongolian language for the pango is added.It realizes the correct display of the Mongolian language in the Linux-GNOME general editor.
