The paper introduced development and application of the wellsite remote monitoring and superintending system in Geological Exploration Development Research lnstitute,The system adopts transmission modes of Ipstar satellite communication,realizes the transmission of the mud logging data and multimedia data to the base under various on-site communication conditions.The system was put into use in 2007,It improves the lnstitute's drilling management level,information share capability,and HSE capability.
