Developing on Real-time Flood Forecasting System in Lower Reach of Qiantang River Based on Web

According to the requirements of flood control,real-time flood forecasting system in the Qiantang estuary is developed with Web technique and GIS platform.Based on the core of one-dimensional mobile-bed model and automatic acquisition real time water-rain telemetry data,the system is constructed,which has some functions including flood level calculation based flow discharge scheme,inverse computation maximal discharge for power station operation with water-gate limited level,scheme comparison and result inquiry.The results show that the system is steady operation and implementation easily with high forecasting precision.
