Design and Fabrication of C-band Wide-Band Hopping Frequency Synthesizer with High Performance and Low Cost

By adopting the highly integrated phase locked loop(PLL)circuit with digital interface,the C-band wide-band hopping frequency synthesizer has been designed and fabricated.The synthesizer has the features of low phased noise,high-speed hopping,low stray and high stability.The frequency hopping rate of the proposed system was greater than 10 000 hoppings/s,the hopping bandwidth was up to 240 MHz,the data transmission rate washigh and the volume of the synthesizer was 50 mm×70 mm×30 mm.A practical circuit has been fabricated according to the design scheme.The test results showed that the circuit was easy to be controlled digitally and had the features of small size,low cost and good performance in system.
