Efficient Mesh-based Application Layer Multicast Protocol

A distributed and scalable mesh-based application layer multicast protocol is proposed,which adopts the characteristic of mesh to construct a novel cluster construction algorithm and the selection algorithm of cluster core.A two-layer hierarchical structure is constructed for group members.A degree-constrained flooding algorithm is given to routing multicast packets.The simulation result illustrates that DSALM is scalable and efficient.
