On Writing English Abstracts of Scientific-technical Papers

With the use of examples, characteristics of English abstracts of scientific-technical(sci-tech) (papers) are summarized through analyzing the contents, tense, voice, text, syntactical structures and lexicon,etc.In addition, some frequently-used sentence patterns and expressions are presented, so as to offer a model for Chinese authors to write scientific-technical papers.
