Analysis of Spreading Mechanism through Removable Storage Devices with Autorunlike Virus

Autorun-like virus is viruses,worms or trojans that can spread through removable storage devices and be executed automatically based on OS' AutoPlay Mechanism.The most important feature of this kind of virus is automic execution by spreading medium.Based on this new technology,in this paper,we disassemble a sample of Autorun-like virus in order to give a in-depth analysis of the infection method which is used by this kind of virus to infect removable storage devices.And give detection and defense methods,according to the analysis.
