ATO:an approximate translation algorithm for OIL based ontology.

Ontology translation plays an important role in the fields of semantic web, knowledge networking, distributed cooperative work and so on. This paper presents an approximate translation algorithm for OIL based ontology, called ATO, which aims at realizing approximate translation by comparing similarity degree between object classes from source and goal ontology: to translate the classes in the source ontology into the classes in the target ontology that are most similar to it.
