Sales Forecasting Software Package Development of Agriculture Machinery Product

Forecasting function is the more unsubstantial part of today’s MIS development. The paper elaborates the developing procedure of the sales forecasting software package of agriculture machinery product. After combined the characteristic of the agriculture machinery product sales, the system confirm five methods that can forecast machinery product sales. They are Time-Series method, Season change method, Markov forecasting method, Linearity regression method and Delphi method. By using PowerBuilder and SQL Server as developing instrument, a forecasting software package was developed.
