Application of Software Test Automation in Memoryleak Testing

The characteristics and reasons of memoryleak are analyzed, the shortcomings of traditional software test technology in testing memoryleak are studied, and a new application of software test automation technology in testing memoryleak is proposed. Mauual work is replaced by test automation technology, which has some advantages: reeligible, coherence, repetition, the new technology can also execute software testing more frequently than traditional test technology. Software test automation technology can resolve problems that common technology can not. Two examples of memory testing are given. These two examples explain the merits of software lest automation technology. The method given has great effect especially with complex application software.
