Realization of Real-time Speech codec of G.723.1 Based on TSSP Trimedia/Nexperia DSP

The dual-rate speech codec deigned according to Recommendation G.723.1 can be used to compress speech signals at the two rates of 5.3 Kb/s and 6.3 Kb/s. It is used in multimedia communication for transmitting videophone, videoconference and other signals. A real-time speech codec for use in videophone is realized based on the TSSA (Trimedia streaming software architecture) of Trimedia/Nexperia DSP according to G.723.1.
