Art and Mixed Reality

Due to the application of computer-based emulation and other related technologies, we are getting into an age featured by the co-existence, intersection, and interaction of diverse reality. As a theoretical category, mixture sums up such kind of phenomenon. Mixed reality results from ancient myth and related depiction in art works such as novel and movie. In the modern life, it represents the new development of augmented reality and interactive media. It has not only become the object of theoretical exploration, but also been applied in the realms such as creation, entertainment, and education of art.
