Analysis on On-site Test of Capacive Voltage Transformer Method

The method for measuring voltage dividing capacitance and tan δ value of superposition capacitive voltage transformer(CVT) by CVT self-excited method was discussed.The test on CVT with frequency-conversion bridge and the necessary precautions were presented.The feasibility and necessity of self-excitation measurement for superposition CVT were analyzed by experiment.Also,the main factors that affect self-excitation measurement were discussed.On this basis,some problems worth attention were indicated that concerns CVT operation,maintenance,and test.Test data make it clear that improvement of self-excitation method adapts to on-site test.
