The Empirical Model for the Forecast of Soil Moisture in Fenhe Irrigated Area

According to the soil moisture data and meteorological data measured by each station within Fenhe Irrigated Area for the past many years, this paper analyzes the regularities of the variation of soil moisture in this area, and establishes the empirical model for the forecast of soil moisture, which provides the foundation for the administration section of this irrigated area to make water consumption dispatching and valley water distribution, and provides references for realizing the targets of carrying out the irrigation in due time and with defined amount, giving full play to the benefit of the water resources and irrigation projects, controlling the soil moisture effectively, saving the water and increasing the yield and benefit, and for finding out and forecasting the drought distribution within the irrigated area.
