The Status Quo and Prospect of Construction Grammar

The thesis begins with a retrospect of the past(origination and development) of Construction Grammar, followed by an elaboration of what makes Construction Grammar and construction proper. I present the readers a picture of what is happening and what is to happen to Construction Grammar at home and abroad, along with the current unmarked approaches to CG. The future trend is interface CG approaches like CG study of psycho-cognitive linguistics, rhetoric, pragmatics, pragma-rhetoric, pragmatranslatology, contrastive(interlanguage) linguistics and so on.
