Electronic Counter-measures against Synthetic Aperture Radars

Some problems about ECM methods designed to deal with the synthetic aperture radars,including noise jamming,repeating noise jamming and repeater deception jamming technologies are discussed and their feasibilities are analyzed in this paper.For effective jamming of SAR,relatively accurate knowing the SAR flight trajectory is necessary.The ECCM of SAR is partially discussed as well.For improving SAR′s ECCM capability adoption of phased array antenna with large aperture is one of effective measures.
