Effects of Crude Oil on Growth and Physiological Indexes of Maize Seedlings

The pot experiments were conducted to study the effects of crude oil on growth and physiological characteristics of maize seedlings in different oil concentrations soil.The results showed that with the concentration of oil increasing, the heights and weights of the plant, leaf numbers, chlorophyll, sugar-soluble and coarse fibrin contents in the plants decreased significantly and the growth of maize was restrained obviously.
