Design and application of intelligent barring system for hydro-generating unit

For the existing problems such as poor measuring precision,long time consumption and lack ofprecise adjustment ways in the traditional manual barring method. An intelligent barring system is pro-posed,which is capable of measuring automatically and continuously,and generating adjustment plan by it-self. In this paper,the structure,the principle and the function of data-processing platform are discussed.A relevant test has been implemented in Baiyunshan hydropower station. The result shows that this pro-posed barring system has the features of high generality, flexibility, convenience and high intelligence,practical proofs that the system is suitable for the hydropower station and maintenance company.
