In the content-based image retrieval,is the color of an image to describe the most simple and effective features.In this paper,a color quantization algorithm,such algorithm based on visual perception and color characteristics of the quantitative point of fuzzy bound-aries,so that can be quantified from the human perception,but also meet the color characteristics of the space in a row and eventually beter To adapt to the color image feature extraction.
