The Relation Between Matroid and Concept Lattice

This paper deals with the relation between matroid and concept lattice by constructive ways and gets that up to isomorphism, every matroid is a concept lattice, but not vice versa. The result makes it become reality that the properties of concept lattice are utilized to the research in matroid theory. Especially, the conclusion is fundamental to the applications of those algorithms for concept lattice construction methods and particularly that having been operated in computer successfully to construct matroids. On the other hand, theoretically, it presents a basis for matroid theory to be an auxiliary tool in studying on concept lattice theory.
