Research on ontology-based intelligent data mining system

Data mining often cannot be implemented effectively as professionals and technical personnel lack of the background knowledge of application fields.Therefore,aiming at this issue,the ontology which is a representation of knowledge is introduced into data mining,and take advantage of its characteristics to design an intelligent data mining system which is based on the on- tology.The composition of all parts from the system and working principle are described in detail.The implementation of this sys- ten can introduce the common background knowledge into every section of data mining,and help technical personnel to achieve the goal successfully.
